RESULTS: ANGELINO CORDOVA DECISIONS ANGEL ACOSTA; BRYAN FLORES NARROWLY DEFEATS SHINARD BUNCH

On Thursday, live on Golden Boy's Fight Night on DAZN, Flyweight contender Angelino Cordova decisioned Angel Acosta over 10 rounds.

It was a very close fight, with both men believing they did enough to win the affair. While Acosta landed the more telling blows and seemed to make them count a bit more, Cordova had a very busy work rate and did enough to convince the three scorers that he did enough to deserve the win.

Scores were 96-93, and 95-94 twice all in favor the underdog Cordova.

On Showtime's ShoBox: The Next Generation, Bryan Flores rose from the deck to remain undefeated and earn a split decision over Shinard Bunch on Friday at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, California.

In the opening frame, Flores was dropped and seemed to get off to a bit of a slow start. However, down the stretch, Bryan was able to take control of the contest and do enough to convince two of the three judges.

Scores were 97-92 and 95-94 in favor of Flores. A third official had it for Bunch with a tally of 96-93.
