NEWS: JAKE PAUL PREDICTS HE STOPS TOMMY FURY 'IN THREE ROUNDS OR LESS'

‍In just over three years, Jake Paul has already done more in boxing than most will get done in an entire career.

Whe he isn't a world champion -- and the odds certainly suggest he will never get to that point -- he has successfully dipped his toes into promotion, has headlined pay-per-views and has even created viral knockouts against athletes-turned-boxers.

However, the one box he hasn't ticked just yet is actually fighting another boxer. That will change on February 25, when Paul takes on bitter rival Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia, airing live on ESPN pay-per-view in the States.

The pair have nearly met several times in the past, but injuries and visa issues have forced postponements that will potentially end just before March.

For both, it's an opportunity to earn massive paydays in a fight in which both men likely fancy their chances. Additionally, a win gives Paul the ability to say he's taken out a genuine boxer with amateur and professional experience.

For Paul, the fact that Fury, the younger brother of Heavyweight titlist Tyson Fury, has a family history in the sport ans well as the aforementioned experience is what makes it so compelling to the viewing public.

"That's what makes this a 50/50 fight with the betting odds. He's been doing this since he was 12-years-old," Paul said to BT Sport of the now 23-year-old Fury. "My three year pro boxing anniversary is (January 30th)."

And while the pair agree on very little, they both seem to think the fight will be exciting, with both almost guaranteeing a stoppage win for themselves.

"... Three rounds or less," Paul expressed, when asked how long the fight will last. "[Fury] just can't keep up with me. He's never been in there with someone good. His opponents have a combined record of 20 wins and 200 losses (note: his opponents have a record of 24-176-5), or something like that. No one has been put in there to really test him.

"He's only gone six rounds. This will be his first time being the main event. All the pressure, all the nerves, all of that's going to get to him. He's never experienced it before, he doesn't know what he's getting himself into. And I believe in my power: Less than three rounds, for sure," a confident Paul said.

It is pretty interesting that, while Paul has been criticized for not being a real boxer, he's fought no worse competition than Fury when going by the numbers. That is to say, neither man has really fought anyone of note.

Still, many Jake detractors will be rooting for Tommy to pull off the win and expose the "fake", when neither man has truly even started the challenging portion of their career up to this point.
