NEWS: MF x DAZN: X SERIES TO INTRODUCE TAG-TEAM BOXING

It has just been announced that the MF x DAZN: X series will feature tag-team boxing on their March 4 show, headlined by Jay Swingler vs. Nicholai Perrett.

Through various press releases, it appears as though the tag-team match-up will pit Los Pineda Coladas, consisting of Luis Pineda and BDAVE, taking on The Fantastic 2, comprised of STROMEDY and Austin Sprinz.

Details surrounding the exact rules have yet to be completely explained.

For the record, this will not kill boxing. Boxing will continue to chug along, despite the apparent absurdity of tag-team boxing. This will likely pass by without a whimper like most special attractions have done in the sport throughout the years.

If anything, this might help kill off most social media boxing as this will allow for it to be far easier to see just how silly these fights are most of the time. But the sport itself will continue on, despite the circus elements brought forth by YouTubers, and despite the sport itself often times refusing to get out of it's own way.
