NEWS: TIM TSZYU READY FOR TONY HARRISON, 'DOESN'T CARE' WHAT FIGHTER IS IN FRONT OF HIM

Early last year, news broke that undefeated Autralian fighter Tim Tszyu, the son of the legendary Kostya Tszyu, would be challenging world champion Jermall Charlo for all the gold at 154 pounds.

The bout was soon set for January 28, and was looking to be the first enticing fight of the new calendar year. However, when an injury forced Charlo to postpone the contest, Tszyu and his team were forced to keep themselves busy in the meantime.

However, rather than just "keeping busy", Tszyu opted to face another top-rated contender in former titlist Tony Harrison. And Tszyu, who will face Harrison on March 12 in Australia, admits he's taking a legitimate risk.

"...It's all on the line and a gamble, but this is what I do. This is boxing, it's part of my career and I'm a fighter first," Tszyu told FOX Sports Australia. "[Harrison] was the next best available option. I'm at that stage of my career that I really don't care who is in front of me, I'm ready to take them all out."

While Tszyu will likely be the favorite heading into the encounter, it will be interesting to see the betting odds, as this is a legitimate fight.

Harrison, 29-3-1 with 21 KOs, is a solid boxer-puncher that has legitimate power at Jr. Middleweight. He poses a legitimate challenge to Tszyu.

A win for Tszyu sets him up well in terms of confidence heading into the Charlo encounter later this year. Still, a win isn't a guarantee.
