ODDS: REGIS PROGRAIS VS. DANIELITO ZORRILLA; TIM TSZYU VS. CARLOS OCAMPO & MORE
By: Jay Calderon
Then, on Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and live on DAZN, Jr. Welterweight world titlist Regis Prograis will make the first defense of his gold when he takes on late replacement Danielito Zorrilla.
Prograis is a big, big favorite heading into the bout, coming in at the -1300 mark. For a number of reasons, this makes a lot of sense. Prograis has been active, against better competition and has both skill and power to his name.
Zorrilla certainly isn't a scrub, but lands at the +710 mark for good reason. Zorrilla simply hasn't been in the toughest tests and will have to prove he can hang at the top level.
In terms of the over/under, it's set at an interesting mark of 7.5 rounds. The over comes in at -110 with the under landing at -120. Truthfully, you're getting value either way. The question really becomes how much credit do you give Zorrilla, and how long will he last?

Also on Saturday (or Sunday in Australia), at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in Queensland, Australia, and live on Showtime, top-rated Jr. Middleweight contender Tim Tszyu will take on fellow contender Carlos Ocampo.
Tszyu lands at the -900 mark, coming into the contest unbeaten as a professional and with tons of momentum to his name. With decent skills and heavy hands, he certainly seems a reasonable favorite.
Ocampo hasn't done all that well when he's stepped up the competition, so coming in at the +500 mark makes sense in this contest.
The over/under set for this one is 8.5 rounds with the over and under both landing at the -115 mark. Another solid spot, in my opinion. I can see it lasting a bit longer, but I'm not betting the house on that one.
