PICK: DEONTAY WILDER VS. JOSEPH PARKER

On Saturday, December 23, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and live on DAZN pay-per-view, former Heavyweight titlist Deontay Wilder will take on another former titlist in Joseph Parker.

Wilder (43-2-1, 42KOs) has fought just once in the last couple years, violently stopping Robert Helenius back in October of 2022. Deontay has been on a schedule of one fight per year since 2020, mostly tied up in his trilogy with current titlist Tyson Fury during that stretch.

Parker (33-3, 23KOs) has gone 9-1 in his last ten outings, with the sole loss beating a stoppage defeat at the hands of Joe Joyce back in September of last year. Since the loss, Parker has won three straight, including a stoppage win over Simon Kean in October.
