PICK: JERMALL CHARLO VS. JOSE BENABIDEZ

On Saturday at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and live on the pay-per-view under card to David Benavidez vs. Demetrius Andrade, Middleweight titlist Jermall Charlo will take on Jose Benavidez in a non-title bout.

Charlo (32-0-0, 22KOs) has been incredibly inactive in the last few years, having only fought once in the last three years, all the way back in June of 2021. In that contest, Charlo defeated Juan Macias Montiel via twelve round unanimous decision.

Benavidez (28-2-1, 19KOs) hasn't been too much busier himself, having effectively fought once a year in his most recent run. During that stretch, Benavidez has gone 2-2-1, most recently stopping Sladan Janjanin back in August.
