PICK: VERGIL ORTIZ VS. SERHII BOHACHUK

On Saturday, August 10, at the Michelon Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and live on DAZN, Jr. Middleweight contenders Vergil Ortiz and Serhii Bohachuk will battle it out.

Ortiz (21-0, 21KOs) has stopped every opponent he's faced as a professional. After a lengthy time out of the ring, Ortiz returned in 2024 and has picked up two stoppage wins in January and April. Most recently, Ortiz made pick work of perennial contender Thomas Dulorme, stopping him in a round.

Bohachuk (24-1, 23KOs) has been fairly active in the last few years, fighting seven times since his only loss, a stoppage defeat at the hands of Brandon Adams, back in March of 2021. Most recently, Bohachuk earned a decision of former title challenger Brian Mendoza earlier this year.
