PICKS: DALTON SMITH VS. JOSE ZEPEDA, SANDY RYAN VS. TERRI HARPER & MORE

On Saturday, March 23, at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England, and live on DAZN, Jr. Welterweight contender Dalton Smith will take on former title challenger Jose Zepeda.

Smith (15-0, 11KOs) is unbeaten as a professional, having campaigned in the paid ranks since May of 2019. Still, Zepeda will be a massive step up for the Sheffield native. Most recently, Smith earned a highlight reel-worthy stoppage over Sam Maxwell back in July of last year.

Zepeda (37-4, 28KOs) began his career in 2009, and has amassed a solid resume, only losing to Terry Flanagan via injury stoppage in 2015 and narrowly losing a decision to Jose Ramirez in 2019. However, Zepeda is 1-2 in his last three, having been stopped by Regis Prograis in 2022, and out-boxed by Richardson Hitchins late last year.

Also on the card, Sandy Ryan (6-1-1, 2KOs) will defend her Welterweight gold against former titlist Terri Harper (14-1-2, 6KOs), and prospect Campbell Hatton (14-0, 5KOs) will take on live underdog James Flint (13-1-2, 3KOs) in Jr. Welterweight action.
