PICKS: GERVONTA DAVIS VS. FRANK MARTIN & DAVID BENAVIDEZ VS. OLEKSANDR GVOZDYK

On Saturday, June 15, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, and live on Amazon Prime pay-per-view, Lightweight world titlist Gervonta Davis will take on undefeated Frank Martin, putting his piece of gold on the line.

Davis (29-0, 27KOs) has remained perfect as a professional, stopping nine of his last ten opponents. Most recently, Davis stopped previously-undefeated Ryan Garcia in four rounds back in April of 2023 in one of the biggest fights of the calendar year.

Martin (18-0, 12KOs) has also remained unbeaten in the paid ranks, picking up his most impressive wins in his last two encounters. In December of 2022 and July of 2023, Martin earned decisions over Michel Rivera and Artem Harutyunyan, respectively.

In the co-featured bout of the evening, David Benavidez (28-0, 24KOs) will take on former Light-Heavyweight titlist Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16KOs) in the former's formal debut at 175 pounds.
