PICKS: JOSEPH PARKER VS. ZHILEI ZHANG, REY VARGAS VS. NICK BALL & MORE

On Friday, March 8, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and live on DAZN pay-per-view, on the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou under card, former Heavyweight titlist Joseph Parker will take on the hard-hitting Olympic silver medalist Zhilei Zhang.

Parker (34-3, 23KOs) has experienced a solid upswing in his career since a loss to Joe Joyce in late 2022. Parker has gone 4-0 durin/since that defeat, including a resounding win over former world titlist Deontay Wilder back in December.

Zhang (26-1-1, 21KOs) has only lost once as a pro, which was a disputed decision the Chinese fighting man dropped to Filip Hrgovic back in August of 2022. Since the loss, Zhang has twice stopped Joe Joyce, in April and September of 2023, respectively, and turned his career around.

Also on the under card, Featherweight world titlist Rey Vargas (36-1, 22KOs) will battle the unbeaten Nick Ball (19-0, 11KOs), Lightweight Mark Chamberlain (14-0, 10KOs) will fight Gavin Gwynne (17-2-1, 5KOs), and Heavyweights Justis Huni (8-0, 4KOs) and Kevin Lerena (30-2, 14KOs) will battle it out.
