PICKS: NATASHA JONAS VS. MIKAELA MAYER, JACK CULLEN VS. ZAK CHELLI & MORE

On Saturday, January 20, at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, and live on Sky Sports (UK) and ESPN (USA), Welterweight titlist Natasha Jonas will battle former Jr. Lightweight champion Mikaela Mayer.

Jonas (14-2-1, 9KOs) has been a champion at 147 pounds since July of last year, where she stopped Kandi Wyatt for the vacant portion of the gold. Jonas has won five straight since her most recent loss, a decision defeat at the hands of Katie Taylor back in May of 2021.

Mayer (19-1 with 5KOs) has won twice since a close loss to Alycia Baumgardner back in October of 2022 during their 130 pound unification bout. Most recently, Mayer picked up a points win over Silvia Bortot back in September of last year.

Also on the card, Jack Cullen (22-4-1, 10KOs) will defend his British and Commonwealth Super Middleweight gold against Zak Chelli (14-2-1, 7KOs), and MRk Jeffers (16-0, 4KOs) will put up his English 168 pound gold against Germaine Brown (13-2, 4KOs).
