PREDICTION: ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER VS. CHRISTINA LINARDATOU

On Saturday, July 15, at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan, and live on DAZN, undisputed world Jr. Lightweight champion Alycia Baumgardner battles former titlist Christina Linardatou in a 130 pound title bout.

The pair battled back in 2018, with Linardatou earning a split decision after a close encounter. Now, with both fighters having earned experience and gold along the way, both look to set the record straight once and for all.

Most recently, Baumgardner, 14-1 with 7KOs, completely unified with the division with a decision over Elhem Mekhaled back in February. It was her eighth straight win since the Linardatou defeat.

Linardatou has been inactive, fighting only twice since 2020. In her last encounter, Linardatou earned a decision over Elin Cederroos back in July of last year, improving to 14-2 with 6KOs.
