PREDICTION: CANELO ALVAREZ VS. JERMELL CHARLO

On Saturday, September 30, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and live on pay-per-view, world Super Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez will take on Jr. Middleweight world champion Jermell Charlo.

Alvarez, 59-2-2 with 39KOs, will be making the ninth defense of some version of his 168 pound crown, looking for his 60th victory. Most recently, Alvarez pounded out a points decision over John Ryder, defeating the Brit back in May.

Charlo, 35-1-1 with 19KOs, has gone 4-0-1 since his only loss as a professional, and last unified 154 pounds in the process. Most recently, Charlo stopped Brian Castano in ten rounds, also back in May.
