PREDICTION: EMANUEL NAVARRETE VS. OSCAR VALDEZ

On Saturday, August 12, at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, and live on ESPN, Jr. Lightweight titlist Emanuel Navarrete will defend his gold against former titlist Oscar Valdez.

Navarrete, 37-1 with 31 stoppages, won the gold in his last outing, defeating lightly-heralded Liam Wilson in an unexpected war to pick up the vacant strap.

Valdez, after falling to Shakur Stevenson in a unification bout back in April of last year, returned in May, earning a decision over Adam Lopez to improve to 31-1 with 23KOs.
