PREDICTION: JOSH TAYLOR VS. TEOFIMO LOPEZ

On Saturdayin New York's Madison Square Garden, and live on ESPN, Jr. Welterweight world champion Josh Taylor will battle former Lightweight world champion Teofimo Lopez.

Neither man has been in tremendous form recently, and both will be looking to showcase their best selves in this particular contest.

Most recently, Taylor, 19-0 with 13 stoppages, struggled mightily with Jack Catterall. After twelve contentious rounds in Taylor's native Scotland back in February of 2022, Josh was awarded the controversial decision.

Lopez, 18-1 with 13KOs, has racked up two wins since his only professional defeat. However, Lopez has failed to look like his once dynamic self, including his questionable decision win over Sandor Martin back in December.
