PREDICTION: MAURICIO LARA VS. LEIGH WOOD 2

On Saturday at theManchester Arena in Manchester, England, and live on DAZN, Featherweight titlist Mauricio Lara will defend his gold from the man he took it from in Leigh Wood.

Lara, 26-2-1 with 19KOs, outside of his victory over Wood in February, last competed in October of 2022, stopping Jose Sanmartin in the third round of action.

Wood, outside of the loss to Lara, last competed in March of 2022, stopping then-unbeaten Michael Conlan in the twelfth frame. Heading into the Lara rematch, Wood has a record of 26-3 with 16KOs.
