PREDICTION: MURODJON AKHMADALIEV VS. MARLON TAPALES

On Saturday at the Boeing Center, Tech Port, San Antonio, Texas, and live on DAZN, two belt Jr. Featherweight titlist Murodjon Akhmadaliev will battle top ten rated Marlon Tapales on the Jesse Rodriguez vs. Cristian Gonzalez undercard.

Murodjon, 11-0 with 8KOs, will look to defend his gold for the fourth time, having been a champion since a 2020 win over Daniel Roman. In his last outing, Akhmadaliev soundly defeated Ronny Rios, stopping him in the twelfth round of action back in June of last year.

Tapales last competed in May of last year, stopping Jose Estrella in two rounds of action. With the win, Tapales improved to 36-3 with 19KOs.
