PREDICTION: SUBRIEL MATIAS VS. JEREMIAS PONCE

‍On Saturday, February 25 at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and live on Showtime, hard-hitting Subriel Matias will take on unbeaten Jeremias Ponce for a vacant portion of the gold at 140 pounds.

In his most recent bout, Matias stopped Petros Ananyan in nine frames, improving to a record of 18-1 with 18 stoppages. It should be noted the single loss came at the hands of Ananyan.

Ponce, 30-0 with 20KOs, most recently competed in April, stopping Achiko Odikadze in the third round. Ponce is riding a three fight knockout streak.
