RESULTS: DIEGO PACHECO DISMANTLES JACK CULLEN IN FOUR, REMAINS UNDEFEATED
By: Jay Calderon
On Saturday at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, and live on DAZN, Super Middleweight prospect Diego Pacheco made easy work of Jack Cullen, stopping him inside of four frames.
In the opening frame, Cullen did well enough behind a faster jab, but Pacheco stayed composed. After the feeling out process, Pacheco seemed to let his hands go a bit more in the second, landing a couple of solid overhand rights. The third was a bit more of the same, with Pacheco working in the uppercut as well.
In the fourth, a massive left hook to the body hurt Callum badly, who slumped to the canvas in the corner. While he managed to beat the count, his glove seemed glued to the impacted area, trying to protect himself from further damage there. However, that left Callun wide open for the follow up barrage upstairs that Pacheco used to end the contest.
Time of the stoppage was :47 in the fourth. Pacheco improved to 18-0 with 15 stoppages, while Callun dropped to 21-4 with the loss.
