RESULTS: ERIK BAZINYAN EARNS MAJORITY NOD OVER ALANTAZ FOX IN CANADA

On Thursday at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, undefeated Erik Bazinyan managed a 10 round majority decision win over fellow Super Middleweight contender Alantez Fox.

In the first half of the encounter, the pair fought on relatively even terms, with both Bazinyan and Fox having their moments. However, as the fight progressed, Fox seemed to weather the worse of the two, as Bazinyan upped the pressure. While Bazinyan failed to get the knockout in the latter frames, he did just enough to convince the judges he had won.

Scores were 98-92 twice, with one official having it a draw at 95-95. With the win, Bazinyan improves to 29-0 with 22KOs. Fox dropped to 28-4-1, and earned his second defeat in a row.
