RESULTS: REGIS PROGRAIS RECAPTURES GOLD, STOPS JOSE ZEPEDA IN ELEVEN

On Saturday at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, and live on pay-per-view, former world titlist Regis Prograis beat down and eventually stopped Jose Zepeda in the eleventh round of action.
Zepeda had a decent opening round, but Prograis was quick to take over and hardly looked back. After a few closer rounds in the middle, Prograis was the fresher of the two heading into the championship rounds.
In the eleventh, Prograis opening up with a big shot that stunned Zepeda and sent him back into the ropes. The follow-up barrage ended the matters as Zepeda crumbled to the canvas. The referee didn't bother to count as he waved off the contest. Time of the stoppage was :59 into the eleventh stanza.
