In Welterweight action on the undercard to Gervonta Davis vs. Hector Garcia, Roiman Villa narrowly-defeated previously-unbeaten Rashidi Ellis, earning a majority decision.

Ellis was mostly dominant in the opening frames, landing the more eye-catching shots and jabbing his man to bits. It was more of the same in those middle rounds, but around the sixth or seventh, when Villa opted to get busier, and was beginning to out-throw Ellis if not out-land him.

The ninth and tenth frames saw Villa begin to take over the fight a bit more, forcing Ellis back in more straight lines and the American was not jabbing nearly as much.

While Ellis managed to bounce back a bit more in the eleventh, he was nearly blasted out in the twelfth and final frame. Initially, the left hook dropped Ellis hard as Villa set it up with the right to the body. In the final seconds of the frame, Villa landed a solid combination that sent Ellis into the ropes. The referee correctly ruled it a knock down as the ropes held Ellis up.

Ellis managed to beat the count and the fight was over as soon as action resumed.

Scores were 114-112 twice in favor of Roiman Villa, with the third judge scoring it 113-113 for a majority decision. For what it's worth (very little), JOB had it for Ellis, 114-112.

In the opening bout of the pay-per-view broadcast, former Middleweight titlist Demetrius Andrade easily handled Demond Nicholson in route to a 10 round unanimous decision victory in his Super Middleweight debut.

After a rough start in the first with a clash of heads, Andrade got to work, landing crisp shots, and being credited with a knockdown in the second frame. The third and fourth saw more of the same, with Anrade simply being too good for the limited Nicholson.

In the fifth, it seemed as though a body shot by Nicholson could have dropped Andrade, but it was ruled a push by the referee. In the sixth, a stiff jab by Nicholson seemed to trouble the eye of Andrade. However, that was the last of any real success for Demond.

Down the stretch, Andrade was moving well, landing crisp shots to the head and body, and even dropped Nicholson in the final round during an exchange that forced Demond's glove to touch the canvas.

Scores were 100-88, all in favor of Demetrius Andrade. JOB scored it 100-88 as well.

More results as the night progresses.
