RESULTS: WILLIAM ZEPEDA BLASTS OUT JAIME ARBOLEDA; VICTOR MORALES UPSETS DIEGO DE LA HOYA

On Saturday at theCollege Park Center in Arlington, Texas, and live on DAZN, undefeated Lightweight William Zepeda made easy work of former title challenger Jaime Arboleda.

After an opening round that saw Zepeda looking to come forward while Arboleda attempted the box, the action picked up in the second frame.

Zepeda hammered home crushing body blows while Arboleda was against the ropes and dropped his man three times in total before the bout was waved off. Time of the stoppage was 2:16 of the second.

With the win, Zepeda improved to 28-0 with 24KOs, while Arboleda fell to 19-3.

In the co-featured bout of the evening, underdog Victor Morales remained undefeated, stopping Diego De La Hoya in the second round of a Featherweight contest.

After a back and forth opening frame that saw both get some shots home, Morales landed a smashing left hand that sent De La Hoya reeling back and eventually to his knees.

While he managed to barely beat the count, the follow up work of Morales sent De La Hoya back to the canvas for the full ten count. Time of the stoppage was 1:08 of the second.

With the win, Morales now rests at 18-0-1 with 9KOs, while the loss means De La Hoya slipped to 24-2.
