SCHEDULE: REGIS PROGRAIS DEFENDS HIS GOLD, TIM TSZYU RETURNS & MORE

On Friday at York Hall in London, England, and live on Sky Sports, Jr. Welterweight prospect Adam Azim returns to action, taking on Aram Fanyan (that's one of the spellings, anyway).

Azim, 8-0 with 6 stoppages, last competed in February, being taken the distance by Santos Reyes. It was the first decision win for Azim since his pro debut back in 2020.

Fanyan has been inactive since a decision win over Timo Schwarzkopf in November of 2021. Fanyan's record of 22-1 with 4KOs, with his only loss coming back in 2018.

Then, on Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and live on DAZN, Jr. Welterweight world titlist Regis Prograis will make the first defense of his gold when he takes on late replacement Danielito Zorrilla.

Prograis, with a record of 28-1 with 24KOs, last fought in November, when he stopped Jose Zepeda to capture the gold he will put on the line this weekend. Prograis has won four straight since a close loss to former undisputed champion Josh Taylor back in 2019.

Zorrilla, 17-1 with 13 stoppages, last fought in March when he halted Aristides Quintero in the first frame. This was the comeback win after his sole defeat, which was at the hands of Arnold Barboza back in July of last year.

Also on Saturday (or Sunday if you're Australian), at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in Queensland, Australia, and live on Showtime, top-rated Jr. Middleweight contender Tim Tszyu will take on fellow contender Carlos Ocampo.

Tszyu, undefeated in 22 professional contests, looks to remain perfect as he heads towards a undisputed Title shot against 154 pound kingpin Jermell Charlo. In his last outing, Tszyu busted up and stopped former titlist Tony Harrison back in March.

Ocampo, 35-2 with 23 stoppages, last fought in March, where he stopped Mauricio Castor inside of five frames. Ocampo lost a decision to Sebastian Fundora the fight prior back in October.
